The Group Formerly Known as Smockshop is an artist run enterprise that generates income for artists whose work is either non-commercial, or not yet self sustaining. Co-founded by Andrea Zittel, and based on her principle that "rules make us more creative" our new line of products are all manifestations of the simple shape of a panel. These rectangular products contract and expand, morphing from single surfaces to fully functional objects.

Keeping busy with 3 music projects including her solo project Kunst Fascion, Medio Mutante and //TENSE// she is always in motion. Her Fine Arts background and love of Costume & Architecture lends itself to creating smocks whenever comfortably stationary. Music and Art are in hand in hand when selecting patterns of fabric or musical patterns for her work. Smocks are Architectural Costumes in her eyes and loves for clothing to reflect her love for clean, modern design. She is convinced she sees the world in only Black & White yet dreams in Color.
